Pharmaceutical Lab Technician - Contract - Social Circle, Georgia

�� is seeking a Pharmaceutical Laboratory Technician to join a dedicated team.

Primary Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be required to support a variety of biological, chemical, and physical analyses on pharmaceutical products, including biologics and drugs. This role involves working through all stages of the manufacturing process, from incoming raw materials to finished goods, and may include environmental monitoring programs.

Skills & Requirements:

Proficiency in data entry and sample management systems (e.g., LIMS, EBM, JDE)
Basic understanding of quality control and environmental monitoring procedures
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to perform routine laboratory tasks and maintain cleanliness
Familiarity with laboratory equipment and sterilization processes
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

The Pharmaceutical Lab Technician's responsibilities will be:

Preparing materials for sterilization in the QC Laboratory Autoclave
Operating equipment preparation and cleaning systems in QC (e.g., QC Laboratory Autoclaves, QC glasswashers)
Maintaining and stocking departmental consumable inventory
Routine verification of operating parameters of temperature-controlled units
Routine cleaning and maintenance of temperature-controlled units
Setting up and disinfecting media, supplies, and equipment needed for testing
Performing sampling of critical utilities systems (e.g., water, air, alcohol)
Conducting non-batch release testing (e.g., raw materials, environmental monitoring)
Assisting in filing and archiving departmental data, binders, reports, investigations, etc.
Retrieving samples from manufacturing areas to the QC Laboratory for testing
Managing the maintenance and disposal of waste generated throughout the laboratory
Receiving and logging all samples into the QC Laboratories
Logging samples into logbooks and receiving them into LIMS, EBM, and/or JDE
Aliquoting samples and organizing them in appropriate Controlled Temperature Units/Environmental Chambers
Entering data into LIMS
Initiating and pulling Stability Studies/Samples

Compensation:

$28 to $31 per hour
