The overview

We partnered with cannabis extraction company based in North America. They were preparing to launch their Australian subsidiary and had first mover advantage as, at the time, they had no direct competitors in Australia.

Scope of work

We approached the CEO, who subsequently partnered with us on an exclusive basis to source their first appointment, a quality director. This was a crucial appointment, as the individual would have huge influence and authority over the build of the new facility.

The outcome

We proactively headhunted and scoured the market for the right talent and within 2 months, we had sourced, shortlisted, submitted, and placed their first hire in Australia. The individual has since gone on to become their chief operating officer for Australia.

Continuing the partnership

Since this first hire, we have partnered successfully with company on 4 additional staffing projects (head of production, QC manager, validation specialist and validation lead). We are proud to continue the exclusive relationship with our partner as they continue to grow globally.
