The overview
A US based biotech focusing on early drug discovery and development services, partnered with us on a 6 hire commercial project to support their expansion into Europe.
The challenge
We engaged with the company after meeting with them at a European conference. The company had no HR presence in Europe, therefore we had to adopt a different approach in this partnership to make it a successful campaign. They had tried to make hires in Europe via referral schemes and talent acquisition teams in the US, however, they didn鈥檛 have the local networks and knowledge required across all six regions.
The solution
After instilling project timelines, we oversaw delivery of sales account management hires across Europe for the VP of sales.
We were able to tap into local networks, utilising our regional teams covering the Nordics, Iberia and DACH, all of whom are native language speakers.
This is an incredibly niche market to recruit for, therefore our regionalised model was incredibly beneficial, and worked efficiently to satisfy the partner鈥檚 deliverables.
Our internal compliance teams were able to provide support on candidate contract queries and managed the partner鈥檚 expectations around local legislations.
The outcome
The partner has successfully secured 6 sales account managers across the outlined regions
Going forward, we continue to work closely with our partner
